Ram Dass speaks in 1992 about the somebody training we go through in our lives and the freedom that comes with holding our roles more lightly
Such a powerful perspective. I love Ram Dass
A classic
💗
This reminds me of a poem I once wrote about my becoming:
“Naked, he stepped
from familiar
to pristine
raw rain
skin alive
gasping
no longer muted
no longer afraid
to that tempest
he raised
cried,
‘give to me’
thus became
a whole being”
The mystery must be honoured, otherwise avoidable suffering follows.

Love this
I never wanted to listen to Ram Doss because I did not want to fall into the trap of being a guru follower. Yet when I finally did I was amazed. He did not seem to be like I expected at all.. just a simple man who wants everyone find their own path.
Becoming nobody :)
I was just talking to a friend the other day, and used Ram Dass' spacesuit analogy. It is perfect. 💖
